I belong to Neilson Homescan, and so far I haven't redeemed any points, but tbey trust you with a neat scanner(worth $150) and i have 7000 points. but their prizes, in trade for points is very high, the prizes are some cool stuff, like blenders for your kitchen, dvd players-home theatre system, watches, i pods,luggage, and pots and pans, from top name brandsplus MORE!. I have been doing the Homescan for a couple of years now. I got a Dr Scholl's foot messager and spa. I also got the G. Freeman grill. Your right, it does take a while to build up points, but it's worth it.

I've been to a few of these sites... Mos of them require yo to 'take advantage' of special offers to be eligible for the cash prizes. I've never seen a penny from them. I play TV trivia at http://www.rewardtv.com to help keep my memory sharper. They reward you with points that you can enter to win prizes. I figure my reward is keeping my aging memory sharper. If i should by some slim chance win something... it's gravy.

Your opinion on products and programs is worth something. I joined the Neilsen panel. I'll let you know how that works out...

I was doing survey's for some extra cash, but if you have to pay a fee, then it's not worth it. However there are a lot of them that are free and pay your real money. If you have to click on so many offers to get your prize then it's not free.
